If you’ll be continuing your studies next year (as a full time student) and are happy in the property that you’re in – let us know that you’d like to stay on.
The benefits of remaining with Student Homes as a tenant are as follows:
- Forget the hassle of moving! You can stay where you are: we’ll look to start your new tenancy after your current tenancy ends meaning no stress for you.
- No new deposit to pay; if we’re happy with how you’re looking after the property we’ll roll your deposit over for you, so no big outgoings.
- A reduced application fee*: as an existing resident if you stay in your current property we’ll halve your application fee - pay just £80.00 rather than the usual £160.00
- All of the normal benefits of living in a University Student Homes property: University management, Out of Hours Cover for your boiler/plumbing & electrics, no guarantor required, support, advice, and much more.
*Application Fee: Student Homes charge an application fee of £160.00 per new applicant, and £80.00 per renewing tenant for all property applications. The application fee goes towards the staff time and work involved in marketing properties, conducting viewings, answering queries, guiding students through the application process - including producing tenancy agreements, and for the inventory that we'll produce for you for the start of your tenancy in your Student Homes property of choice.
If you’d prefer to move on, but would like to know what other housing options are available to you through Student Homes get in touch and we’ll help out. We have options available for groups and for students looking on an individual basis. What's more, as a current tenant we'll show you our accommodation before students who don't currently live with us have chance to view our properties.
